A quiet detached house with a large garden giving onto the mares’ meadow

This quiet self-catering house contains 2 bedrooms upstairs and a terrace giving onto the large meadow where the farm’s mares and foals spend most of the year.

Not overlooked, this holiday home can ideally accommodate a couple or a family of 4. Rice growing is a Saint-Germain tradition. Though technical progress has made it possible to mechanically crop rice like other cereals, fifty years ago, rice plants were transplanted by hand in flooded rice paddies.

This cottage used to accommodate Spanish seasonal workers who were experts in this work that came every year to the Camargue region.
